Synchronizing agendas

It is possible to synchronise your appointments with your Outlook, iCal or Google Agenda. All appointments that are in the OnlineAfsrpaken.nl agenda will be copied to your own agenda. This can be on account level, but also on resource (=staff member/location/device) level.

To set up the one-way synchronisation, you go to Settings > Synchronisation > Synchronisation. On this page you will also find more information about the synchronisation. One-way synchronisation is dependent on the moments on which Outlook, iCal or the Google Agenda retrieves the data.

It is also possible to perform a two-way synchronisation. With this feature, all appointments that are in the OnlineAfspraken.nl agenda will be put in a Google Agenda, and at the same time all appointments that are in the Google Agenda will be put in the OnlineAfspraken.nl agenda. It is also possible to perform a two-way synchronisation with other types of agendas. You first set the synchronisation with the Google Agenda and subsequently synchronise this agenda with the iCal agenda.

When you perform a two-way synchronisation, only appointments that are booked after the synchronisation took place are synchronised. Appointments that are booked before the synchronisation cannot be found back in the agendas, unfortunately. A one-way synchronisation does place the old appointments in the agenda, but if perform this before or after a two-way synchronisation, you get double appointments in your agenda. So unfortunately there is no way to synchronise old appointments with a two-way synchronisation. From OnlineAfspraken.nl the data will be visible instantly. If you perform one from Google to OnlineAfspraken.nl, it will take about ten minutes.

To set a two-way synchronisation, you go to Settings > Synchronisation > Two-way Sync Google and subsequently click the button 'Activate Synchronisation for a Resource'.

We advise you only to perform a two-way or only a one-way synchronisation. This is to prevent the doubling of appointments in your agenda.
